I'm watching more anime than I have in probably a decade. ^^; WHEEEEE!
Currently I'm on a huge Letter Bee spree. The main character, Lag, is so adorable! He's probably gonna end up as one of my all time favorites. Oh, who am I kidding, he already IS!
With the Spring anime season about to start I'm really hoping that Crunchyroll will simulcast Ookiku Furikabutte's 2nd season, since Funimation has said they have no plans to license it. According to the Crunchyroll website they'll be announcing some new shows any time now and I can't help but feel Oofuri will be one of them.
On a different note, I think what TOKYOPOP is doing with Neko Ramen (making one new 4-panel strip available each day by E-mail) is awesome! They're also available via website here: http://www.tokyopop.com/NekoRamen/tp_article/2936243.html

| My Favorite Series Revived!! |

Viz is now streaming the Hikaru no Go anime on their new site http://www.vizanime.com/!! YAY!!!!!! Only the subtitled version appears to be up, so I guess they aren't planning to finish broadcasting their dub. Too bad, since they only had ~2 eps to go back when Toonami Jetstream was shut down. But I'm still really happy to see the series revived in America at all. Who knows, maybe they'll add it later.

Changed my image to Kengo from the Monochrome Factor manga 'cause he's such a sweetie. I just received volume seven today (yay!) and it filled my heart with warm and fuzzy Kengo love. XD
Also got volumes 5 and 6 of Boku to Kanojo no XXX (Your and My Secret) since the release date for volume 5 in English was pushed back from May to December. I'm glad it's just delayed and not canceled 'cause this is definitely one of my favorite series. |

| Fullmetal Alchemist 2 Opening |

For some reason I thought it would be fun to try and translate the opening song for the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime. So I did. Here's my current version. The romaji lyrics are from Funimation's release because I'm never sure of the correct way to break things up, heh.

There's going to be legal streaming of the new Fullmetal Alchemist series 4 days after Japanese broadcast!!!
From Funimation's Website:

Flower Mound, TX – April 3, 2009 - FUNimation® Entertainment has acquired digital, broadcast, DVD and merchandising rights to the megahit anime series "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" from Aniplex and debuting on Japan's MBS and TBS nationally at 5:00 pm on April 5th.
Starting Thursday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m., FUNimation will deliver high-quality, free, original Japanese dialogue accompanied by English subtitles, streaming episodes of studio Bones' new Fullmetal Alchemist via www.funimation.com as well as key video-sharing partners."

| 2008 Almost Over... |

Well, nearly the end of another year...
A lot of rough roads for my friends and family in 2008, the most monumental of which being my dad's sudden cancer diagnosis and death this summer. But we're all trudging forward. It's hard to believe 2009 is only a few weeks away. As always, it will be interesting to see what that year unfolds. |
